Jamie Harvey

Jamie is a former television news journalist turned award winning writer/producer. Beginning his career in radio, he cut his teeth delivering the sports news on both the BBC and numerous commercial radio stations, before moving into television and working on ITV News and the Channel 4 news.

As his passion for story telling developed he started writing comedy, and eventually wrote his first sitcom script, “Conny”, which was picked up by Sharon Horgan and optioned by Bwark and Merman. Latterly he was commissioned by Sky to write “The Master Forger” and has several scripts currently under option.

In the past few years he has written and produced two short films which picked up numerous festival honours including Best International Film at the International Black Film Festival. As well as writing and producing a short online series called the “Pyjama Diaries”.

Jamie has produced 10 of the 16  shorts that make up “Everything I Ever Wanted To Tell My Daughter About Men” and is also the primary producer on the feature film.
